The Griffin Theatre has always supported High School education by offering free teacher previews to all of their productions.

If you join their Education E-Group exclusively for teachers to take advantage of 2 complimentary tickets to every preview performance of every Griffin and Griffin Independent production.  This is a great chance to check out the work of Griffin and to familiarise yourself with their offering of new Australian plays before bringing a school group along to the dedicated Wednesday matinee school performances

Griffin supports teachers and is keen that as many students as possible are able to see the best of contemporary Australian drama - tickets are kept as low as possible at $16 per student and teachers again come for free.

To join their Education E-Group for Teachers - and receive free tickets to preview performances of all Griffin productions, as well as receiving reminder e-mails closer to each performance date, email:

(On a personal note - I have taken school groups to these performances every year and have found them to be invabuable to my performance starved students. The production and educuaction notes provided are excellent and the post production Q & A sessions with the cast and crew have been incredibly generous and informative.
