Our Drama NSW Launch in February at the Belvoir Theatre received a huge response from members as well as the various theatres, universities, and related businesses who support us in our roles as Drama Educators. We hope the launch was successful in helping you make new contacts and, of course, to catch up with old friends. Thank you to our special presenters for the evening, Wesley Enoch, Miranda Jefferson and Jonash Ocampo and to Alan Blackwood and his committee for organising the event. What particularly struck me was the acknowledgment by those in the theatre industry of the contribution that drama teachers make, and the interest that theatre companies showed in developing closer ties with us.
