DESCRIPTION:Presented in conjunction with English Teachers Association of NSW \nIn this two-session webinar\, learn about ideas and strategies for implementing drama pedagogies to teach texts studied in the English classroom. Want to enrich the study of non-drama and drama texts with opportunities for collaboration and communication? Join these webinar sessions\, presented by Drama NSW and the English Teachers Association of NSW. \nFirst webinar – Tuesday 8 September 2026 / 4:00pm to 5:30pm \nIn the first session you will explore several examples of drama pedagogy applied to English texts in ways that encourage students to engage with group activities\, collaboration\, and develop their communication skills. These strategies can be used to enhance interest\, overcome challenges\, and sustain engagement with complex written texts. They also support students to develop their imagination when reading and creating texts as well as make connections to others and to the world. \nSecond webinar –  Tuesday 15 September 2026 / 4:00pm to 5:30pm \nIn the second session you will have an opportunity to reflect on and troubleshoot your implementation of these expectations and pedagogies.
