Lyn Pierse, Australia’s leading improvisation tutor, has worked for decades teaching generations of actors and teachers in improvisation & acting. This workshop will be focused on the skills and techniques of improvisation, as scaffolding for simple exercises & games, into using and exploring them in a classroom space. This will also expand into using improvisation techniques for playbuilding, informing text, & devising work, with an emphasis on building confidence to side coach drama students and maximise the ideas in the moment. The masterclass will also focus on exploring a wider range of content, including expanding physical and vocal range.
